My portraits explore the delicate balance between technical precision and emotional truth. Working primarily in charcoal and limited palettes, I create works that merge Eastern essence-based art philosophies to evoke a powerful sense of emotional realism. Drawing inspiration from Rembrandt’s dramatic chiaroscuro lighting and Eastern art influences like the spontaneous spirit of Chinese splashed-ink painting, I fuse meticulous precision with expressive freedom to capture the true essence of my subjects. 

My compositions employ deliberate negative space, rhythmic line quality, and calculated tonal contrasts, reflecting my training in both artistic traditions.
